Main tasks:
Assisting guests on embarkation day to escort them to their cabin and help with luggage
Cleaning 6 staterooms during changing day in compliance with Scylla/Edelweissgastro standards and hygienic guidelines
Cleaning the SPA area incl. fitness room daily and minimum 1 general cleaning per week
Responsible for all massage treatments in compliance to Scylla/Edelweissgastro standards
Responsible for welcome towels after excursion in compliance with the hair dresser (if on board)
Responsible for the early riser breakfast from 07.00 am – 09.00 am in Bistro or Arthur’s in compliance to Scylla/Edelweissgastro standards
Check and refill the fitness room (towels, water,…) several times a day
Assists with "Turn-down" service on a daily base
Reporting technical defects in the SPA area to the reception
Assistance in the laundry if necessary
Adherence to cleanliness and hygienic regulations in compliance with HACCP and Scylla/Edelweissgastro standards
Compliance with the waste concept
Stand by duty as needed
Careful handling of all provided equipment and assist during inventory
Knowledge of the ship and the respective daily program Guest services in general
Support of other departments if needed (housekeeping, reception)
Guest services in general

Qualification Profile:
Organizational and communication skills
Guest focused, stress resistant, calm under pressure, team player and with positive appearance
Open minded and flexible with high social and inter-cultural competencies
Excellent English skills (written & verbal), other languages are an advantage
Must work independently
Additional tasks for all crew members:
Assistance with the welcome of guests on the day of embarkation
Participation in the crew show
Assistance with the loading of goods and suitcases
Keep crew mess and your own crew cabin clean
Thorough execution of the safety role on board

General information:
Working hours: during the normal operation on board, the crew member will work 7 days a week and app. 70hrs
Accommodation: shared room on board with one other crewmember (on some ships with more than one)
Uniform: is provided by the company: before arrival the crewmember has to make sure to take black & white trousers, white shirts & polo shirts, black & white shoes with him in case the uniform isn’t on board yet
